1. General

1.1 What does SEAU do exactly?

SEAU helps Vietnamese manufacturers and brands enter the European market. We fully manage compliance checks, customs handling, logistics, listing on online platforms, and post-sale services (customer support, returns, restocking), so you can focus on making great products.

1.2 What product categories does SEAU work with?

We specialize in consumer goods. Not sure if your assortment fits? Submit your application and we’ll assess it free of charge.

2. Eligibility & Application

2.1 Do I need to have an existing brand?

Yes. Your products must be sold under a registered brand name or have a clear branding strategy.

2.2 How do I apply and how long does the review take?

Fill in the online form on our website and upload product information, certificates, and photos. You’ll receive a response within two weeks. If you don’t hear from us within four weeks, we currently don’t have capacity— feel free to reapply later.

4. EU Laws & Regulations

4.1 Do I need CE marking?

All products in regulated categories must comply with CE guidelines. We verify the requirements and help with missing tests or documentation (DoC, technical files).

4.2 What documentation should I provide?

  • EN or ISO test reports
  • Material Safety Data Sheets (if applicable)
  • Labels with place of collection, material & washing instructions (for fashion/home textiles)
  • Packaging info compliant with EU packaging directive

5. Costs & Payment

5.1 What fees does SEAU charge?

No set-up or subscription fees.

5.2 When do I get paid?

Within 14 days after monthly closing, minus commissions and return costs (if applicable).

6. Logistics & Fulfilment

6.1 Where are the warehouses?

Our fulfilment partners are based in the Netherlands – strategically located for fast delivery throughout the EU.

6.2 Can I handle shipping myself?

For pilot volumes, you can send DDP shipments to our DC. For larger scale, we recommend FOB Vietnamese port and we’ll take it from there.

7. Product Listing & Marketing

7.1 On which platforms will my product be sold?

We start with our own SEAU store and optionally connect to Bol.com – the largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands.

7.2 Who creates the listings and translations?

Our EU-based content team optimizes titles, bullets, and A+ content in English, Dutch, and German. You provide tech specs and lifestyle imagery.

8. Inventory & Orders

8.1 How much inventory should I provide?

We recommend initial stock for 60 sales days, based on forecast data. You’ll see real-time sell-through in your dashboard; we’ll notify you automatically when restocking is needed.

8.2 What if there’s excess stock?

You can choose to apply a discount, bundle products, or return them to origin (at your own shipping cost). SEAU aims to minimize waste.

9. Customer Service & Returns

9.1 Who handles customer inquiries?

Our multilingual support team (EN/NL) responds within 24 hours. Product-specific questions are forwarded to you.

9.2 How are returns processed?

Returns go to our DC for inspection. Items are either restocked or sorted for refurb/donation. Return rates and related costs are included in monthly reports.

10. Sustainability & Quality

EU consumers and marketplaces demand transparency.

10.1 Sustainable materials Use recycled or certified inputs (FSC, GOTS) where possible. Certificates improve rankings on platforms.
10.2 Carbon footprint Optional CO₂ offsetting via partner programs. We report product footprint.
10.3 Quality control Pre-shipment inspections (AQL) in Vietnam are mandatory. >2% defect rate triggers re-inspection.
10.4 EPR registrations For packaging and electronics, you need Extended Producer Responsibility numbers in each EU country. We handle registration.

11. IP & Brand Protection

11.1 How does SEAU protect my brand in Europe?

We recommend EU trademark registration (EUIPO) and monitor marketplace listings to block copycats via “brand gating”.

12. Data & Reporting

12.1 Will I have access to sales data?

Yes, via the SEAU dashboard (API available). You’ll see KPIs such as revenue, conversion, return rate, and stock levels in real time.

13. Contact & Support

13.1 Can I call someone for updates?

Project timelines and status updates are visible in your dashboard. To keep processes lean, we limit calls to kick-off and quarterly reviews. Urgent? Use the Support ticket system.

13.2 What languages does your team speak?

Our team speaks English, Vietnamese, and Dutch. Documentation is provided in English or Dutch.
